Senior Sales Director/VP Water Treatment New York, NY

 

Chronos Consulting's (www.chronosconsulting.com) client is a midsize water treatment multinational. 
 
This is a great Senior Sales Director / VP role to cover the entire US with one of our clients, a leading global water treatment company. The ideal candidate should have proven successful sales experience to the heavy industrial, food & beverage and utility markets as well as managing all US sales reps. 
 
This role will be home based with some travel; 2-3 times per month to see strategic customers and managing major bids at senior C level while overseeing and managing sales reps across the US.
 
Responsibilities:
 
1. Direct sales to the industrial, power and related industries.
 
2. Leading existing distribution network, recruiting new distributors.
 
3. Developing key accounts in the industrial and power markets across the US.
 
4. Managing a sales team and reporting to overseas HQ.
 
 
 
Skills and experience
 
1. 10yrs+ in sales positions in the water treatment industry in the USA including proven management skills.
 
2. Proven customer relationships in the industrial and power market.
 
3. Mechanical or chemical engineer or similar education is a big advantage. Alternatively, candidates with a long-term field sales experience can be considered too.
 
4. Working in a multinational company can be an advantage.
 
5. Ability to travel nationwide.
